This is the last weekend before the big day and store owners say
procrastinators have been keeping the stores busy.
And they apparently aren't just buying stocking stuffers...they're buying

With Christmas on Wednesday, many stores are open extended hours tomorrow,
and only early evening on Christmas Eve.

afternoon on the last day of the regular season.
Plus the Carolina Panthers take over the N-F-C west with a bye in the first
round of the playoffs after a win over Pittsburgh.
The Carolina Panthers captured the N-F-C west title and a first round bye in

Ace Custis scored a game high 15 but the Hokies lost to West virginia 76 to

The Roanoke Express celebrated an early Christmas last night with a 5 to 2
win over The Raleigh Icecaps.

its a new scoreboard with all the latest gadgets.
And the Express would light up the scoreboard first. Ilya Dubkov works it
