home.
The Tupac Amaru says their freedom depends on the release of the guerilla

Peru's government is still refusing to comply-- today, a former leader of
the rebel group warned the government against giving in.

Alami's sister Stella was also taken hostage when terrorists stormed the
residence in Lima.
She was released a few days before her husband.

In spite of the situation, there was a relatively relaxed atmosphere, and

A familiar Republican has stepped forward hoping to fill the shoes of state
senator elect Roscoe Reynolds.
58- year old Phil Plaster announced over the weekend he's seeking the
republican nomination to run in the special election.
Plaster is a former member of the Patrick County board of supervisors
He ran once before for Reynolds' seat in 1995.
Last week, Democrat Barnie Day announced his intentions to run for state
senate.
The earliest date for a special election is January 14th.

their four year association.
Reeves led the Giants to an 11 and 5 season in 1993 and into the N-f-C

There's also an opening in Atlanta where the Falcons fired head coach June
Jones. Jones suffered through a stormy season including the suspension and
