Federal Investigators are on the scene of a cargo plane crash in Giles
Today's outlook is a far cry from this weekend's chilly weather.

A major break this afternoon for investigators in Giles County.
The recording units have been recovered from the ill-fated cargo plane that
crashed outside of Narrows last night.
The Airborne Express A-B-X Air D-C-8 was traveling from North Carolina to
Ohio when it went down.
The crash killed all six people on board.

the late '50's and early '60's.

Empty, they weigh 83 tons with a wing span of 148 feet.
The plane has four jet engines and can travel up to 600 miles per hour.
The cargo plane usually carries a crew of three.
And has a fuel capacity of 20-thousand gallons.
At least four people are dead after an explosion in Houston.
It happened shortly before midnight last night at the Wyman Gordon Forging
Company, a defense contractor.
Three workers were taken to the hospital, and six are still missing.
The explosion did NOT cause a fire at the plant.
A hazardous materials team is on the scene.
Russian President Boris Yeltsin is back at his desk today.
Yeltsin has not worked full time for six months... he had heart surgery just
He appeared in good spirits as he talked to guards outside his office.
He said he was feeling well and ready for action.
But former Russian national security advisor Alexander Lebed says Yeltsin is
too sick to run the country.
Lebed, who was fired by Yeltsin, alleges the President is drinking again.
President Clinton wrapped up his Christmas shopping yesterday, and got an
earful from AIDS activists.
Mr. Clinton broke his normal Sunday morning routine, skipping church
services to go shopping at AMTRAK's Union Station shops.
He was mobbed by well wishers as he shopped, and then heckled by two members
of the AIDS activists group ACT-UP.
The President did not respond to the hecklers.

They were in a group of more than 200 freed last night.
But 140 people are still being held by rebels.
