State Police say they are assisting the Pulaski County Sheriff's department
in what appears to be a double homicide.
They're are now on the scene on Alum Spring Road.
An eyewitness went by the residence about an hour ago and said he saw two
bodies and police in the resident's front yard.
A news 7 crew is in route to the scene.

((Neighbors looked on as police removed the bodies of two men from this Day
Avenue apartment house yesterday afternoon.
This time police say it may have been a murder-suicide.
But it was only six months ago that similar site rocked Day Avenue.
On June sixth the bodies of Manfred and Wanda Woody were found in the
kitchen of their Day Avenue apartment.
That double murder has not been solved.
Gerald Martin has lived on Day Avenue for nearly 30 years and says the good
old days are gone.

One vehicle was turning when another one hit two others causing a chain
reaction.
A man was taken to Radford Community Hospital, after being thrown into the

His name and condition has not been released
No one else was injured.
Traffic was back up for about an hour.

In August tens of thousands of Holdren's customers learned the appliance
warranties they paid for weren't being honored.
The trouble began when a North Carolina company acquired the Roanoke retail
chain's assets, but not its liabilities.
Two large employers in our area have new owners.
First Colony Life Insurance of Lynchburg was bought by G-E Capital, and
Leggett was purchased by the Belk chain.
WalMart became a bigger part of our lives this year.
The company opened close to a half dozen of its mammoth supercenters in
places like Roanoke, Henry County, Christiansburg, and Rocky Mount.
In May western Virginia closely followed the ups and downs of Optical
Cable's stock.
The Roanoke County company went public a few months before at ten dollars a
share, and some positive press helped it surge well over a hundred for a while.
And nurses and other employees at the region's largest employer began
contemplating union membership this fall.
Carilion Health System employees say it's because some of the changes
planned with its reengineering have gone too far.
