Investigators say Douglas was found clutching a high powered revolver, but
there is evidence that there was another handgun at the scene.

An autopsy conducted Saturday showed that both men had been shot once in the
head by a gun of the same type found near one of the bodies.
A maintenance man found the bodies after residents complained of a foul odor
in the building.
Police say the men had been dead for about a week.

A charge of child abuse and neglect in Roanoke--
Police were called to a home on Berkeley Avenue Southwest Saturday night
after four children home alone thought someone was breaking in.
When police went inside they found rotten food and feces on the floor along
with garbage and moldy dishes.
Two girls ages 16 and six were home as well as two 23- month old boys.
The 39- year- old mother said she had dropped the father off for work and
then went to a bar for a pool tournament.
Roanoke City Social Services has taken the children.
