For the second year in a row, Green bay has advanced to the N-F-C championship game.
This afternoon, The Packers beat the 49-ers 35 to 14.

The Packers set the tone of the game early in the first quarter. Desmond Howard receives the punt and he returns it 71 yards for the touchdown and a 7 to nothing Packer lead.
Then with six minutes left in the first quarter Brett Favre goes to the air and hits Andre Rison on the four yard touchdown pass to make it 14 to nothing Packers.
Green Bay went in at the half with a big lead Edgar Bennett takes the handoff up the middle to score and it was 21 to Nothing Packers late in the second quarter.
San Francisco got on the board when Elvis Grbac rolls out and hits Terry Kirby on the short touchdown pass to make it 21 to 7 at the half.
The 49-ers made it a close game early in the third when Grbac fakes the handoff and scores from in close The Niners trailed 21 to 14.
But Green bay answered. Edgar SUPER=30-Green Bay/35/San

Francisco/14/;Bennett fumbles the ball in the end zone And Antonio Freeman recovers it for a touchdown and Green Bay wins it 35 to 14.

The Packers will play the winner of the Dallas Carolina game tomorrow afternoon in Charlotte.
The Cowboys arrived at Ericcson Stadium this afternoon for the game. Dallas is the favorite but the Panthers were undefeated at home throughout the regular season.

As Roy mentioned, the Panthers will be fighting hard in tomorrow's game with Cowboys and their fans are fighting just as hard to get into the stadium.

If you're looking for some of the hottest tickets around, be careful.
They may be hot in another way.
First, people in North Carolina who sell tickets at more than three dollars over their face value could be dealt a misdemeanor.
And those tickets could be confiscated from the buyers as evidence.
There's also the threat the tickets you buy are counterfeit.
It's happened before.
About 60 people were duped by scalpers who sold them phony tickets to the Panthers game against San Francisco earlier this season.

Frigid weather has revived the country's 125 mile-long skating marathon.
16-thousand skaters braved the early morning cold to race through 11 towns.
Thousands more lined the frozen canals to watch.
The winning time -- nearly seven hours.
The first race took place in 1909, but mother nature rarely creates the right conditions for the event.
It's only been held 15 times this century. (----------------)
