The woman's pickup ran out of gas yesterday- Blowing snow and bitter cold make it dangerous to get out.

The woman has blankets and a sleeping bag but no food.
Wind chills could fall to 70 below zero tonight.

((Recovery of the victims of flight 3272 is going very slowly. National Transportation and Safety Board officials say frigid temperatures prevent rescuers from searching for more than 20 minutes at a time.
A number of expert teams are on scene to investigate what might have caused the crash including the weather. The manufacturing of the plane or one of its parts and also the pilots performance. Hammerschmidt says it appearsthg captain had a stellar record:

Police say Moore had been shot in the head.

Authorities say Walton was spotted driving the victim's car around the time of the murder.
When police searched the teens bedroom they found keys fitting Moore's apartment and car along with other evidence.

According to sources close to North Carloina State's football coaches; Wolfpack offensive coordinator Ted Cain was in Lexington yesterday, on, what he called a "fact finding mission ", trying to decide whether or not he and VMI would be a good fit. Donnie Ross and Chip Garber are alsocandidates for the vavant VMI head coaching position.

The Patrick Henry National Bank and the People's National Bank have something called Newsline in their high volume offices in Martinsville and Danville.
The ticker displays news, sports, trivia and entertainment information on both the indoor and outdoor teller lines.
