A 37- year- old Henry County woman is struggling for survival this morning after her boyfriend allegedly shot her.

Authorities say 35- year- old Timothy Dexter Walton was armed with a sawed off shotgun when he entered the furniture plant where Susie Penn worked.
Other employees at the Bassett Superior Lines Plant watched as Walton reportedly fired two shots at Penn.
Penn is in serious condition following surgery.
Walton was arrested inside the plant and is being held in the county jail without bond.
Investigators say a break up in the relationship initiated by Penn may be what triggered the shooting.

35- year- old Timothy Dexter Walton apparently left his work area shortly before the shooting.
Sheriff's officials say minutes later Walton fired two shots in the direction of 37- year- old Susie Penn.
No one else was injured.
Authorities say the incident could have been worse because other employees were also in the room.

One of the victims of the crash reportedly was on her way to a funeral for her brother who died in a cargo plane crash last month in Virginia.

Scully was one of six people killed in the crash of an Airborne Express cargo jet December 23rd in Giles County.
