Near Detroit this afternoon, crews are removing the bodies from the site of
a commuter plane crash.
The Comair jet nosed-dived into a snow covered field yesterday killing all
29 on board.

One of the victims of the crash reportedly was on her way to a funeral for
her brother who died in a cargo plane crash last month in Virginia.
"The Cincinnati Enquirer" says 37- year- old Maureen DeMarco was going to
Detroit to attend the funeral of her brother Brian Scully.
Scully was one of six people killed when the Airborne Express plane crashed
into a mountainside near Narrows December 22nd.

hit severe turbulence on a flight from Hawaii to Texas.
The jet made an emergency landing in San Francisco.

a shooting at a Henry County furniture company.
Authorities charged 35- year- old Timothy Dexter Walton with shooting his
girlfriend yesterday inside the "Bassett Superior Lines" plant.
Investigators say Walton apparently left his work station, pulled out a
sawed off shotgun, and fired at least two shots in the direction of his
37- year- old Susie Penn is in serious condition after surgery yesterday.
Other employees were in the room at the time, but no one else was injured.

Pittsylvania County authorities are looking for an elderly man who's been

73- year- old Henry Thomas Parrish walked away from his home yesterday and

Parrish has Alzheimer's disease.

about 145 pounds.

Even after travel expenses, Tech brings home more than two million dollars,
more than half of which will go to cash reserves.

One woman made medical history in England after she gave birth to twins an
astonishing 19 days apart.
Tracy Speakman gave birth to daughter Page December 19th.
The baby's sister Abbey did NOT arrive until Tuesday, born in a different
year from her twin.
The doctor who delivered the babies says this is the first time he has seen
twins born at different gestation periods survive.
