tonight.
It happened around 9:45 on Southgate Drive.
Virginia Tech police say at least two people were taken to the hospital.
No word yet on their conditions.

Danville's first murder of the year has police there looking for suspects.

It happened shortly after eleven last night in the 500- block of Keen
Street.
Authorities say 40- year old Johnny Alphonso Motley of Danville was shot
multiple times in the back.
Police discovered the body lying on the street after hearing gunshots in the
area.
Authorities do not have any suspects, but are attempting to question
witnesses who were in the area.
Police are awaiting results of an autopsy to determine how many times Motley
had been shot.

problems.

Legendary Golfer Arnold Palmer is having health problems.

Palmer has withdrawn form next weeks Bob Hope Classic after tests indicated
that he has prostate cancer.
The 67-year old Palmer got the results from a biopsy yesterday.
Palmer says he will not play competitively again until the cancer is taken
care of. Palmer has won seven major titles in his career.

We have an update on the vehicle accident on the Virginia Tech campus
tonight.
We just learned that a male student was stuck and killed while another
female student is hospitalized in satisfatory condition.
It happened around 9:45 on Southgate Drive.
