Police say 20-year-old Daniel Kelly of Maryland was walking down Southgate Drive on Tech's campus with his girlfriend shortly before ten last night.

Kelly was pronounced dead at Montgomery Regional Hospital shortly after the accident.
His girlfriend was not seriously injured.
Her name is not being released.
Funeral services for Kelly will be held in Maryland.
The Newman Catholic Ministry is planning a memorial service on campus sometime this week.

Mentavlos says the school broke it's promise to keep her safe.

Two other female cadets who have not made hazing accusations are expected to return to campus.

Bedford County Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that has left a family homeless.

The blaze broke out shortly after six last night at the Hardy Road Trailer Park.
The fire was out of control when fire fighters arrived.
The cold temperature caused one of the water pumpers to freeze making it difficult to get water to the blaze.
Everything Teresa Clemmer and her two children owned was destroyed in the fire.
No one was home when the blaze broke out.
The fire is still under investigation, but officials it does not appear to be suspicious.
