Mink sentenced Chris and Willie Gammon to 48 years each for murdering their father and shooting their step-mother.
During their three-day sentencing hearing, Chris, Willie, and a string of family members told horror stories of violence and abuse on the part of their father, Gary Gammon.
The brothers' lawyers begged for leniency.
They could have gotten up to three life terms in prison.

Police were following up a report of a possible abduction when an officer spotted the vehicle on Monsview Place.
The 15- year- old drove the car over a curb and then backed into the police cruiser.
A short chase ended when the teen crashed the stolen vehicle into a parked car.

Just hours after they extinguished a fire at a Hill City lumberyard, firefighters were called to this house on Marsh Street where the front porch had been set on fire.
It took them about fifteen minutes to bring the blaze under control.
