license.
The Kentucky man says that's why he didn't stop in September when police
tried to pull him over for speeding.

About four months ago... Stocks led authorities on a high speed chase
through Botetourt County.
It ended with a three car collision that killed a Covington man.
This afternoon, Stocks pled guilty to two charges... second degree murder
and eluding a police officer.

and killing a man who allegedly threatened him.

It happened last night when deputies pulled David Roy Craighead over at
Clarence's Steak House in Ridgeway to question him about damage to an
apartment.
Sheriff Frank Cassell says the 35- year old jumped out of the car and ran
behind the restaurant.
When the officers approached Craighead he reportedly refused to drop the
tire iron he was carrying.
Cassell says one of the deputies sprayed Craighead with pepper spray but he
failed to surrender.
Cassell says he continued to move toward the deputies and Corporal Jay
Engstrom fired his gun more than once.
