The man's name and condition have not been released pending notification of family.

Sheriff's officials say when he failed to surrender Sergeant Robert Wade sprayed him with pepper mace.
Sheriff Frank Cassell says the spray apparently did not faze the man and he continued to move toward his officers.

Unfortunately it's official--layoffs are on the way at the General Electric plant in Salem.
As NEWS-7 first reported last week, the company is trimming its workforce.
G-E told its employees yesterday that it will lay off 167 hourly production workers.
20 others volunteered to take temporary layoffs through March.
These employees average around 12- to- 15- dollars- an- hour.
The layoffs begin next Monday.
