The year-long investigation wrapped up yesterday as police began arresting about 35 people.
They face a total of about 55 drug distribution and possession indictments.
Sheriff Wayne Pike also expects some FEDERAL charges.
The investigation was carried out with a 60 thousand dollar state grant, which was recently renewed for another year.

Governor Allen's job performance rating continues to rise.

According to the most recent News- 7 Mason Dixon Poll... 65- percent of Virginia voters say the governor is doing either a good or excellent job running the state.
That's 7 points higher than his approval rate in September.
The survey also revealed that voters wouldn't mind paying a six- percent sales tax... if that meant the end of PERSONAL PROPERTY tax on vehicles.
Statewide, 57- percent of voters are in favor of the idea while only 28- percent are opposed.

Volunteers in Salem are trying to fill the gap by recycling used computers.
