A mock hostage drill at a Martinsville hospital a year ago has resulted in a
30-million dollar lawsuit filed by three emergency room nurses.
In the early morning hours of January 25th, a group of

masked men carrying guns took over the emergency room of Memorial Hospital.
The lawsuit filed this afternoon names the hospital, a management company,
and nine individuals as defendants.
The nurses say they have suffered severe emotional and physical injury as a
result of the drill.

Some members of congress have jumped
into the fray-- and quickly introduced legislation to guarantee coverage.
Despite some long-term studies to the contrary, the government does not

It took fire brigades from several cities hours to release all the trapped
