Three men are charged with bombings and bank robberies in the Spokane area.
According to the Spokesman-Review newspaper, a military surplus dealer said he sold men a military style backpack and a timing device.

The bomb in Atlanta was also in a military style backpack and was triggered by a timing device.
The paper also says phone records show one of the men was in Atlanta when the bombing occurred.
The FBI is investigating the connection, but the three men are not yet suspects in the bombing.

The bomb went off outside a Wells Fargo Bank in Vallejo, California.
No one was hurt, three automatic teller machines were damaged.
Police are trying to find out if it's connected to another bomb found yesterday that DIDN'T go off.
Some children found THAT bomb while playing near a library.
Police say they haven't received any bomb threats...they think robbery could be the motive.

The Confederate Flag played a major role in the Fourth Annual Lee-Jackson Southern Heritage Parade.

It's day two for crews saving hundreds of people trapped on ice on a lake in Ontario, Canada.
The ordeal began yesterday when 700 people were stranded during an ice-fishing derby.
Huge cracks broke through Lake Simcoe and emergency teams were called in to bring people to shore -- but two hundred people were stranded on the ice overnight.
Pauline Chan has the latest on the rescue.

71 year old Thomas Milburn Belk died last night at a Charlotte hospital.

The three railroads deadlocked in a bitter bidding war have agreed to meet and try to settle their differences.

Checking the financial markets for the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 137 points, the Nasdaq composite rose roughly 15- points.

The Patriots got within three on a goal line touchdown connection to Keith Byars. 10 to 7 Packs.

Schrader was at the Roanoke Civic Center last night before the Express/Charlotte hockey game signing autographs for racing fans.
Fans did not know Schrader was going to put his driving skills to work. But he emerged from this Chevy truck to help the Express with a promotional give away.
On a serious note, Schrader did address his reasons for leaving Rick Hendrick motorsports and joining the Skoal racing team to drive the 33 monte carlo.
