During a concert tonight at the Civic Center Auditorium, Conductor David
Wiley announced plans for a live recording of Beethoven's Symphony Number 9.
The performance, and recording session, are scheduled for April 28th.
A grant from Symphony Society Board member Eldon Grover will make it
possible to record the concert. Cassettes and CDs should be available by
summer.
