68 year- old Jean Anderson while she was being murdered inside.

capital murder charges.
Anderson, a retired school teacher from Marion, was strangled to death with
her housecoat.

Anderson, but claimed his co- defendant committed the murder.
17 year- old Joshua Widener's hearing is still under way this evening.
Officials say D-N-A tests link Widener to the rape.

Junius Haskins on city council.

Council now has until February 16th to appoint a replacement.
City officials say it's likely members will review the applications after

July 30, 1987, Mark Garrett's body was found on the southside of Charlotte
with a bullet near the back of his head.

trafficker, Javier Cruz, but that Cruz wouldn't give her son title to the
vehicle.

It was a convenient mid-point for transporting cocaine up and down the East
Coast.

specializing in pick-ups, station wagons, campers, trailers... anything that
could be used to conceal large amounts of cash and coke.
Soon after he got busted in Miami, Cruz agreed to become an informant.
