Today's New York's Times details the lab's sloppiness in the Oklahoma City bombing probe.
The paper reports lab examiners shipped defendant Timothy McVeigh's jeans in a brown paper sack instead of a sealed plastic bag.
And cocaine traces from McVeigh's car may have resulted from dirty testing equipment.
The U-S Deputy Attorney General is now responding to the allegations of evidence mishandling.
