streets of Richmond.
That's where two men from Texas were headed when a sheriff's deputy pulled
them over on Interstate 81 yesterday.

The officer suspected a drunk driver when he stopped the vehicle.
When the two men inside gave conflicting stories, he called for a
drug-sniffing dog to search the van.

today.
Officers rounded up 14 suspected drug dealers, charged in indictments handed
down by the Grand Jury today.
Three suspects were also arrested in Covington.
Officials say the suspects were street level dealers.
Most of the charges involved the sale of crack cocaine.

scores.

Teachers organized the rally to encourage students to do their best on the
"literacy passport tests" which will be given Wednesday.

combining exercise with many of the over-the-counter and prescription cold
medications can make the side-effects worse.
Some medications can raise the resting heart rate and others can cause
drowsiness---adding exercise to this can make the side effects more
pronounced.
The doctors also say--if you have symptoms such as a runny nose and
sneezing it's probably okay to exercise.
But with symptoms such as
a fever, deep cough or chest pain-- you should forget the workout.

AFC beat the NFC 26-to-23 in overtime in the Pro Bowl.

The NFC trailed 16-to-15 in the fourth quarter, when Redskins quarterback Gus
Frerotte, who had his name misspelled on the back of his jersey hooked up with

But Jaguar quarterback Mark Brunell answered that with an 80 yard TD pass to
the Raiders Tim Brown to tie things at 23-all.
The NFC's John Casey had a chance to win it in regulation but his 39 yard
field goal attempt is just short.
Then in the overtime, the AFC's Cary Blanchard has a chance to win it - but
he pulls this 41 yard attempt wide left.
Blanchard would later get the game winner from 37 yards out, but not before
both pro bowl kickers were upstaged by Lance Alstodt, who won a contest with
Hershey, and then won one million dollars by making this 30 yard field goal.
