A 30- year- old man from Hillsville was killed last night in a single vehicle accident in Carroll County.
State Police say Thomas Jefferson Simone's (suh-mone's) car ran off route 100, hit a tree and overturned.
Authorities say he died instantly.
Police believe excessive speed is to blame for the accident.
