Nine months of undercover work paid off for the Rockbridge Regional Drug Task Force.

Monday, the task force arrested 27 people on drug charges.
Today they showed off the results of those arrests; cocaine, marijuana, and several prescription drugs allegedly stolen by a worker at a Lexington nursing home.
Police Chief Bruce Beard who has been with the department for 27 years says this is the biggest single drug roundup he's seen.
The Rockbridge task force has made a total of 299 arrests since it formed in 1994.

Money is what the jury will be thinking about too, because the job now is to figure-out how much more o.j. simpson should pay. If the first award is any key, then the next figure could be huge. No talk of deficit.
Instead, this budget claims to have enough savings to produce a 17 billion-dollar surplus by 2002.
Overall, the budget spends more than one and half trillion dollars.

This year, the eagles are 15 and 2 and 5 and 1 in the district. Leading the way are the guard/forward tandem of Marquis Cunningham and Charles Stephens.
Cunningham, a Maryland and Duke recruit, is averaging around 16 points a game while Stephens leads the team in scoring at over 20 a contest.
