According to a speech by new president (yah-SOO-oh) Yasuo Tominaga given to the upper management, the plant is in serious jeopardy.
In it, he details the company's financial woes, and says if the problems are not fixed in 2 years... the plant will shut down...leaving the more than 900 workers out of a job.

Company officials said today they're recalling all employees laid off last month.

Burks says a man convinced him and some of his co- workers in Rockbridge County that they didn't have to pay federal income taxes on their wages.
