Monday, the task force arrested 27 people on drug charges.
Yesterday they showed off the results of those arrests; cocaine, marijuana, and several prescription drugs allegedly stolen by a worker at a Lexington nursing home.
Police Chief Bruce Beard, who has been with the department for 27 years, says this is the biggest single drug roundup he's seen.
The Rockbridge task force has made a total of 299 arrests since it formed in 19-94.

Some Martinsville teens are not excited about the idea of a city-wide curfew.

City leaders are planning to mail a survey to Martinsville residents later this week asking if a curfew is needed.
The students believe an ordinance would unfairly punish most teenagers.

A Barnes and Noble superstore is planned for the space now occupied by the Tanglewood Cinema.
The movie theater will be torn down, and replaced by a ten- screen multiplex nearby.
And officials say they are talking with potential tenants for the Brendles space at the other end of the mall.
