This winter storm has already claimed one life.
Police say Alan Dale Hall was driving through Patrick County when he ran off the road.
His car struck and embankment and overturned.
He was trapped inside the car for about 30 minutes as rescue workers tried to free him.
The 41- year- old was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Lynchburg City Council has filled the council seat of the late Junius Haskins' seat.
