((It was snow, not love, that filled the air this Valentine's Day.
This latest winter blast dumped as many as four inches on parts of Central and Southwestern Virginia... making early morning travel treacherous.
Authorities in the Roanoke Valley reported only minor accidents.
This was the result of one of them.
Apparently a vehicle smashed into this route sign... and officials were forced to tear it down.
But it was obvious from the beginning that the snow crews were ready for this storm.
By mid morning, practically all of the primary roads in the area were clear... and traffic started moving at a steady pace.
Now the focus shifts to the secondary streets... some of which have yet to be plowed.
