President Clinton wants to make it easier to buckle your child into a car
In his weekly radio address, he announced new government regulations that
would ensure that all seats fit into any vehicle by 19-99.
Under the regulations, every child safety seat would have two standard
buckles at its base...
And every new car would be equipped with standard latches in the back seat
specially designed to fasten into the buckles.

The Transportation Department says some 80 percent of child car seats are

As a result, hundreds of kids die every year in accidents.
