Wildlife Rescue.

wildlife rehabilitation agency there.
Runion's father has power of attorney for her 97 year old grandmother, and
has agreed to sell the property to Strauss Construction.

grandmother's wishes are not being honored.

Campbell County this morning--
It happened about 9:30 at W-E-L Incorporated, an environmental contractor in
Concord.
Two employees were preparing to take apart an old gasoline storage tank in
an open field.
Police say the heat from a propane torch used to cut the tank may have
ignited gasoline residue or fumes inside the tank.

an oil storage tank this afternoon.
The men were apparently using a cutting torch to dismantle the tank when it
ignited.
The tanks were housed behind the former Minter Oil company on Fitzgerald
street.
The blaze was put out quickly--no one was hurt.

Fire destroyed a home in Botetourt County--
The flames were shooting through the roof when fire trucks got to the house
on Rainbow Forest Road.
Neighbors told firefighters there was a chance some children were inside,
but after a long search, they did NOT find anyone.
The search, and intense heat took it's toll on firefighters... the
lieutenant in charge says the all-volunteer force was shorthanded.
At least two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion.

All three would score in double figures tonight. Ahtey notches 2 of her 11
in the first half on this play.

Landon Cassidy drives inside, misses the shot, but Adam Jones gets the board
and the bucket.
The Shawnees tried to keep things from getting out of hand as Chad Basham
finds Simon Jones underneath. He gets the hoop and the harm.
But the Spartans ball handling helped Giles blow it wide open as Ben Brown
coverts the hoop and Giles wins it 71-to-44.

In the nightcap, Rick Cormany and his Bobcats were looking to knock off the
Auburn Eagles.
But the Eagles would get on the board first as Ryan Nolan finds Adam Loveday
underneath for the layin.

drains the 3 to put the Bobcats in front.
The Bobcats continued to press as the defense gets the turnover and Tony Hash
