And a judge ruled there was probable cause to send the charges against
James Crawford and Brian Edmonds to a grand jury.

As she searched for a friend, the woman says Edmonds pulled her into his

sexual intercourse with her, while she called out for her friends.
Crawford and Edmonds have denied the charges, and the two football standouts
have filed a 32- million dollar lawsuit against their accuser.
The timing of events is critical to the case, and defense attorney Matt

A man shot to death in Floyd County this week may have been killed over a
rifle and a 20-year old car.
The body of 38-year old Stanley W. Harmon was found yesterday morning at
his home in the Buffalo Mountain area.
His rifle was missing, along with a 1977 Pontiac Firebird.
Police in West Virginia found the car in Greenbrier County last night.
That led to the arrest of 18-year old Mark Anthony Beavers and 21-year old
Jerry Wayne McKinney on auto theft and fugitive warrants.

The judge today said new technology warrants A TRIAL for James Earl Ray.
Now a higher court must agree.
Wytheville police are investigating a racially motivated incident near
George Wythe High School.
A hate message aimed toward blacks was spray painted on the road leading up
to the school.
Less than a week ago a group of white students was suspended for two days.
They had tied their jacket drawstrings around their necks like nooses.
Civic leaders say something needs to be done to ease the racial tension.

A special prosecutor has exonerated two prominent Pittsylvania County men
accused of violating the state's conflict of interest laws.
Roanoke Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Betty Jo Anthony says the pair did
Anthony has been looking into whether Ben Davenport, Junior personally
benefited from economic development in the Pittsylvania County industrial park.
The board of supervisors requested the investigation after allegations were
raised by a group of county residents.
Davenport and Wallace Collie, the other resident targeted, sit on boards
which deal with economic development in the county.
Anthony says although the men were cleared the investigation was

house into a new million dollar facility.
Doctors treated 8 patients the first night the clinic opened, now they see
at least 80 a night.
