Barely six months have passed since the last time a Christiansburg man was arrested for distributing drugs.
Tuesday the 74- year- old was arrested again on the same charge.

It was last August that authorities seized crack cocaine and guns from the home of William Bernice Smith and his wife Josephine, who has since died.
At that time, police said they were eliminating a major crack source in the New River Valley.

Virginia plans to steer clear of a program to enforce a new federal rule making it tougher for children to buy cigarettes.
The Food and Drug Administration rule that takes effect tomorrow requires retailers view photo identification from tobacco buyers younger than 27.
Virginia did NOT apply for a federal pilot program to help states enforce the rules, and state officials say they have NO enforcement plans of their own.
Attorney General Jim Gilmore says the government has no business regulating the sale or use of tobacco.

In Sydney Australia today, a French man picked the wrong mountain to climb, or rather the wrong building.
