The paper says it obtained defense team notes that show McVeigh rejected setting the bomb at night, instead opting for business hours because his goal was a quote "body count." The notes, according to the paper, also reportedly detail how McVeigh, with help from co-defendant terry nicohols, obtained and mixed fertilizer with nitro racing fuel, and then drove the massive homemade bomb by himself in the Ryder truck to the Murrah federal building. The story comes with McVeigh's trial just one month away. Jury questionaires have already been sent out to people in Denver where the trial will be held in federal court.
