A Danville woman is hospitalized after she was repeatedly stabbed tonight.

It happened around 6:30 at a house on Winslow Street.
Danville police say 39 year old Brenda Williams was stabbed approximately six times with a steak knife in the neck, face and shoulders.
Police say Williams and another woman apparently got into a fight shortly before Williams was stabbed.
Police are questioning a suspect but so far no charges have been filed.

But Virginia Tech's Insect Identification Lab has been flooded with calls from people who are bothered.
The experts say the best defense against the ladybugs is a vacuum cleaner.

They spread across the nation on their own, showing up in Virginia in 1993.

This is the 35th year the ski resort closed the season with a big party and this race.
