((For the second time in as many weeks, an armed gunman turned a bank into a

when he went over to kill the other guy--he said he'll be back. And he came
back and before he got to me he shot somebody else.
Police say the gunman's trail of death began a few blocks from the bank when
he shot a man in the face. The injured man, a police department applicant who
was out walking his dog, is expected to survive. Authorities say the gunman
then hijacked a car and drove to the bank.

I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE.
After killing two people in the bank, the gunman walked out taking a hostage
with him. He took the hostage to a nearby alley where he killed him. The
gunman was then brought down by police bullets. It's the second time in nearly
two weeks---that a shootout has taken place in broad daylight in a major,
American city. On February 28, two men died and sixteen police officers were
injured in a botched robbery at a Bank of America branch in Los Angeles.))
