(Ah-mahd Thee-ahb) Ahmad Thiab was taken into custody at Dulles Airport this afternoon, as he got off a flight from London.
Doctor Thiab had been living in Quebec, Canada.
Three years ago he was co-owner of Mixer's Restaurant and Lounge in Salem.

It burned to the ground in a spectacular blaze that federal authorities now say was deliberately set by members of the Abed "crime family."
Thiab allegedly hired five of the Abeds to set the fire in an UNsuccessful attempt to collect insurance proceeds.
Thiab has a doctorate in Political Science and holds joint citizenship in Canada and Iraq.

Virginia Tech women's head basketball coach Carol Alfano, found out yesterday that her 19 year reign over the Lady Hokies was about to come to a close.
In the 80's it was almost unheard of for women's coaches to be fired, or forced out, Alfano says times are a changing.

Mariners' pitcher Randy Johnson accidentally hit Snow in the left eye during a cactus league game in Scottsdale, Arizona yesterday.
Snow was taken to the hospital where he underwent a battery of tests.
He has a fractured left eye socket, but doctors say the health of the eye is good.
He does have some blurred vision, but that is due to the swelling.
He was released from the hospital tonight.
