This video is purportedly a farewell message from the quasi- religious
cult, and this man is believed to be their leader, known as father John.
If you believe the tape, the 39 men and women who committed suicide
were looking forward to their deaths.
A letter was sent with the tape to a former cult member identified only as
Rio. Rio's boss says every one of the cult members said goodbye in the video:

Matsorkis says the group apparently believed a u-f-o...hidden behind

The cult designed web pages under the name higher sources and had

Authorities now say it appears the 39 people took drugs to kill themselves, and
that some of the bodies may have been in the million-dollar estate for as long
as a week.

Why is news of a Virginia politician taking tobacco money a surprise?
Well Jean, Jim Gilmore has led Virginia taxpayers into a lawsuit against the
FDA over its regulations on teen smoking, siding with the tobacco companies.
So critics say the Republican candidate for Governor flying to New York last
week on a Philip Morris corporate jet, skipping a meeting there with fellow
attorneys general, and picking up 50- thousand dollars, including 20- thousand
in one check from Philip Morris... just doesn't look good.
