Attorney General Jim Gilmore's finally issued a legal opinion on how last
October's minimum wage increase affects Virginia's "tipped workers."
Gilmore says they will stay at four-25 an hour, where the federal law froze
them when it upped other workers' wages to four-75 an hour.
And that four-25 can include tips... making the actual paid wage from the
employer much lower.
The opinion's good news for restaurant owners.
