Police escorted 36 year- old Audrey Dalton to her home, and checked the trailer before she went in.
Finding that all was quiet, Dalton approached, and was gunned down in the yard.
Her 16 year- old daughter Andrea was hit twice, and died during surgery.
Police Chief Kenny Sharpe fired one round, yelled for Audrey's companions to get down, then dove for cover.

In all, more than a dozen brush fires broke out between Moneta in Bedford County and Piney Mountain in Roanoke County.
The flames were apparently sparked by a Norfolk Southern train... because the fire followed the trail of the railroad tracks.
Forestry officials say the malfunction was likely caused by either faulty brakes or a problem with the smoke stack.
Apparently this is nothing new.
Firefighters say this is the third time in the past week something like this has happened... just not to this extent.
