Good evening I'm Joe Dashiell.
Fire fighters from several states are battling a blaze a top a mountain in

So far officials estimate the fire has scorched more than 250 acres in a
remote section of The George Washington and Jefferson National Forest.
The fire started around 8-30 last night.
Investigators are not sure what sparked it.

North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia are the only other states where

The state's plan to give free child care to welfare recipients who get jobs

The state Department of Social Services has proposed the free child care for

Non-welfare families earning the same income would have to pay a small
