Six months after they became locked in a hostile bidding war, Norfolk

Richmond- based C-S-X will spend upwards of four- billion- dollars for the
rest of Conrail.
It gets new connections in Boston, St. Louis, New York, and Philadelphia.
Norfolk Southern and C-S-X will jointly operate Conrail assets in other
terminals.
Even with these bitter rivals in agreement, the deal has a long way to go.
The finer details must still be worked out, and federal regulators who want
to make sure competition is preserved could take close to a year to approve the
Conrail carve- up.

Buchanan killed his family and fled in 1987, when he was just 19 years old.

and vicious and stating the execution should proceed.
