Still no sign of the A-10 Air Force attack jet that's been missing since last week.
The plane mysteriously disappeared from a training exercise over Arizona.
The Air Force received about 20 reports of smoke and explosions in the mountainous Colorado area where it was last tracked by radar and visual sightings.

Pentagon analysis indicates the plane would have been running out of fuel by the time it reached the snow- covered central Colorado area.
An Air Force spokesman would not speculate as to whether the pilot, Captain Craig Button had any particular reason to fly to the area, or to possibly take his own life.

San Francisco doctors may breathe a little easier about recommending pot for their patients.

A federal judge issued a temporary restraining order to protect doctors from prosecution or licensing action.
The Clinton administration had argued that physicians should not be able to do anything more than discuss with their patients the risks and benefits of marijuana.
The restraining order will last until the judge rules on the doctors' request for a permanent injunction.
Last year California voters approved the use of pot for medical purposes, but pot is illegal under federal law.

Dudley Lawhorn of Rustburg won the first late model stock car race at the track last weekend.
Lawhorn is a veteran of the short tracks in the area he says the division is very competitive but its the challenge of the tight track that brings him to Victory Stadium.

Over in Roanoke County tonight, Cave Spring and Patrick Henry were kicking round the soccer ball in an early season Roanoke Valley District match up.

The Knights got some last minute advise from their coach Bruce Mahan and it paid off.
Cave Spring's Steve Hamblen gets the ball at the side of the net and heads it past the Patriot goalie for a score and a one to nothing lead at the 29-29 mark of the first half.
The Knights were on the attack again and in position to score but Patrick Henry goalie Will Krause comes up with a big save to stop the drive.
At the other end, Patrick Henry was SUPER=34-Cave Spring/2/Patrick

Henry/1;in scoring position. Keeper Brent Bowles slips after making one save but the rebound kick is over the net and the Knights go on to win it 2 to 1.
