A Botetourt County Circuit Court judge sentenced the teenager to 17 years in prison.

Two men were found shot to death inside a Day Avenue apartment last December.
Gunshot residue tests determined that 54-year-old Spencer Dickason killed 44-year-old Odell Hairston, and then shot himself.
Investigators offered no information on a possible motive.

Some nurses at Carilion's Roanoke Community Hospital say the neo- natal intensive care unit is under- staffed.
One of the nurses says the hospital is violating the state- mandated ratio of one nurse per two- point- five babies.

State Health Officials wouldn't confirm or deny an investigation is underway, but say they've been receiving complaints from nurses for the past six months.
