Those doctors gave the 8-year old boy psychological tests.

The man's body was discovered inside his Gretna home after he failed to
report to work.
An autopsy showed he died from a severe blow to the head.
Because of the determination by U-V-A doctors, more psychological testing
was ordered-- this time at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
The boy is now living in Maryland with his biological father's family.
Three years in prison for the main Whitewater figure- James McDougal.
He was sentenced today on fraud charges.

In addition to the three year prison term, McDougal also got three years
probation and a ten thousand dollar fine.
He could have faced a possible 84 years in prison and a four and half
million dollars in fines.
Some Republicans want Attorney General Janet Reno to resign- and they're
also calling for an investigation into her work.

That after Reno today refused to appoint an independent counsel to
investigate Democratic party fundraising.
Instead, Reno says the justice department can check it out.

Crews could not search some sites because of an avalanche danger.

The drive from Charlottesville to Roanoke is back to normal again.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 64 over Afton Mountain were closed after a
rock slide last night.
The road was closed for 16 hours, and during that time, traffic heading for
Waynesboro and Staunton was detoured onto U-S 250 west at (Cro-zay) Crozet.
The highway department reopened the lanes this morning after a
geologist checked out the conditions.
The rock slide happened about 7:15 last night. No one was hurt, and no cars

eventually own five local stations, rock-n-roll giant WROV, country station
WYYD, plus WJJS, WRDJ and J93...no word on any format changes.

Former Roanoke federal prosecutor Monty Tucker would shudder at the

the tone is changing.

resigned amidst scandal.
Tucker's worked on mending fences.
And consciously or not, he's brought a slight moderation to a board inmates
and their families have loved to hate.
