An accident yesterday in Bedford County yesterday left one man hospitalized after officials had to use the jaws of life to free him from his car.
It happened at the intersection of route 4-60 and 6-90.

23- year- old Shelley Northrop of Montvale was driving west on route 4-60.
Police say 56- year- old June Hevener, the driver of the maroon car, was turning on to 4-60 and drove into on coming traffic.
Hevener's passenger, 57- year- old Henry Morgan Hevener, is in stable condition this morning.
Northrop and June Hevener received minor injuries.
Police are charging June Hevener with failure to yield the right of way.

The Jaws of life were used free an accident victim yesterday afternoon.

Rescue workers used the Jaws of life to free 57 year old Henry Morgan Hevener.
Authorities say 23- year- old Shelley Northrop of Montvale was driving west on route 4-60.
Police say 56- year- old JUNE Hevener, the driver of the maroon car, was turning on to 4-60 and drove into on coming traffic.
Police are charging her with failure to yield the right of way.
Hospital officials say Henry Hevener is in stable condition.
