Authorities have NOT released his name or condition.

Police say 56- year- old June Hevener, the driver of the maroon car, was turning on to 4-60 and drove into on coming traffic.

Northrop and June Hevener received minor injuries.
Police are charging June Hevener with failure to yield the right of way.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 64 are closed on Afton Mountain due to a rock slide.
Police said no one was injured in the slide last night.
A state Department of Transportation geologist will assess the situation before any traffic lanes are reopened.
Meanwhile, motorists traveling west are being rerouted onto U-S 250 at Crozet (kro-ZAY), and then back onto I-64 at Waynesboro.

A series of gun sales restrictions that have taken effect since 19-94 have significantly cut sales by licensed gun dealers in Virginia.
But the drop has had little impact on crime.
According to state police figures, sales by licensed dealers fell by more than 46-thousand statewide, or 20 percent, between 19-94 and 19-96.
