train while trying to dodge another train.

downtown.
17- year- old Richard Lancaster of Campbell County and 18- year- old Kevin
Childress of Pittsylvania County died instantly after being struck by a
southbound Norfolk Southern train.
Police say the teens had just crossed the tracks in front of a NORTHbound
train and may not have heard the other train coming.
Apparently, many people use the tracks as a shortcut to downtown.
