Police say a pick up truck rear ended the car eleven- year- old Allison Brittany Fullen was riding after the car while pulling out onto route 24.
Fullen was pronounced dead at Roanoke Community Hospital.
Police are not releasing any information on the others involved in the crash.

Police believe Monica Ruth Stevens of Troutville was speeding on Alleghany Springs Road when she lost control of her car.
The 18- year- old ran off the right side of the road, then overcorrected and veered off the left side of the road.
The car hit a tree and overturned.
Stevens died at the scene.

Flames as high as Seventy-five feet melted a hotel sign after a car crashed into a Natural Gas Station in Blacksburg yesterday.
Police say 21- year- old Gerald Close lost control of his car on South Main and crashed into the gas station.
Close and his passenger, Virginia Tech student Maria Goldsby suffered multiple injuries and burns.

Montgomery County police suspect speed is to blame for a fatal single vehicle accident.
Authorities believe 18 year old Monica Ruth Stevens of Troutville was speeding on Alleghany Springs Road when she lost control of her car.
Stevens ran off the right side of the road, then overcorrected and veered off the left side of the road.
The car hit a tree and overturned.
