President Clinton is headed for flood- ravaged North Dakota this afternoon,
as thousands of evacuated residents wonder how much longer it will be until
they can move back home.
The President is promising to bring support to Grand Forks and other flooded
areas and is confident Congress will approve an increase in emergency funding.
Forecasters say the Red River finally appears to be cresting at Grand Forks
-- at 54 feet, more than twice the flood stage.
The river is now threatening downstream communities in the U-S and Canada.
Jonathan Freed joins us with the latest.
