Lynchburg police are still investigating a fatal accident involving a
tractor trailer and a bicyclist this afternoon.

It was about 4:15 when this Peterbilt tractor trailer was headed south on
Route 501. It reportedly struck a woman riding her bicycle in the same
direction.
Thirty Seven year old Suzanne Dawn LaReau was thrown from the bike and
killed instantly.
A medic crew transported the truck driver, 71-year old James E. Hutcherson
to the hospital.. police said he was emotionally shaken by the accident.
No word yet on whether any charges will be filed.

Actor Eddie Murphy had a run-in with the law this morning.

Police stopped him in his Toyota Land Cruiser in West Hollywood about 4:45
this morning.
They arrested a cross-dressing prostitute the actor had picked up.
Deputies made the arrest after seeing the known prostitute get into the car.
20-year-old (Ada-son Sea-O-Lee) Atisone Seiuli was taken into custody on a
warrant for prostitution, but Murphy was not detained.
Deputies say the actor was not involved in any criminal activity.
Murphy's attorney says the actor stopped to help the prostitute, who seemed
``disjointed'' as he walked along Santa Monica Boulevard.

A prenuptial agreement would reportedly give Maples between one and five
million dollars, but that amount would double if they stay married through
