action committees.
For example, Dominion Resources has given nearly equal amounts, about
35-thousand dollars, to Democrat Don Beyer and Republican Jim Gilmore.
Likewise -- but about half as much -- for M-C-I Telecommunications.
NationsBank gave a thousand dollars to each.
Virginia Power has given almost 20-thousand dollars to Gilmore and
half that to Beyer.
